Viasaterna was founded in 2015 in Milan by Irene Crocco. The gallery name is inspired by Via Saterna, an imaginary street described by the writer Dino Buzzati in his “Poema a Fumetti”, (1969, Arnoldo Mondadori). Starting from a specific interest towards photography, Viasaterna explores every other forms of contemporary art, with a special attention to emergent Italian artists, such as Alessandro Calabrese, Teresa Giannico, Camilla Gurgone, Martina Corà, and focuses as well on established artists such as Guido Guidi, Takashi Homma, Ramak Fazel and Marion Baruch.
