Jörg Brockmann

stablished in 2010, Espace Jörg Brockmann promotes contemporary photography in the heart of Geneva and at European fairs. The gallery regularly presents work by artists at the start of their careers. The gallery has presented series by Marine Lanier, Jonathan LLense, Ricardo Cases, Vasantha Yogananthan, Rebekka Deubner and Alisa Resnik, among others. Early work by well-known photographers was also presented at the gallery: Martin Parr, Jim Goldberg, Antoine D'Agata and Raymond Depardon. The photographers followed by the gallery build their productions around intimate or social narratives and experiences, experimenting with the image as a documentation of the contemporary. Exhibitions are often accompanied by a temporary library of works selected by the artist, providing a context for his or her work.
