Founded in 1994, ATLAS is one of the foremost galleries in London dealing in fine art photography. Based in the heart of Marylebone, the gallery hosts approximately six exhibitions a year and has a presence at major international art fairs. ATLAS represents major contemporary practitioners such as Nick Brandt, Franco Fontana, Andreas Gefeller, Jimmy Nelson and Bastiaan Woudt and a number of artists’ estates, including Terence Donovan, Patrick Demarchelier, Ernst Haas, Florence Henri, George Hoyningen-Huene, Marc Riboud and Lucien Clergue. The Gallery also specialises in classic and modern 20th Century vintage photography, photojournalism, and fashion photography. ATLAS represents and collaborates with artists such as Studio Glithero and Richard Caldicott who experiment with and push the boundaries of the medium of photography. Expanding the Gallery’s holdings to include unique cyanotypes on ceramic vases, paintings and works on paper. Our holdings also include work by diverse masters of photography such as Bill Brandt, René Burri, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Robert Mapplethrope and Irving Penn, providing access to a vast array of diverse and exceptional photographic works.
